Beth Schiff

Story-driven and collaborative, Beth Schiff has over two decades of multi-faceted casting and producing experience across verticals, from SAG and non union film, TV, podcasts, digital, and live events, to branded, editorial and corporate projects. This Baltimore (or Bawlmer) native “fell” into casting when a major motion picture came through town and laid the foundation for her career. Learning the ins and outs of on-camera, VO and print casting, negotiating contracts, as well as talent and office management, Beth mastered all aspects of casting and producing in the MD/WDC area.

Onto New York City, where for close to eight years at Godlove and Company Casting, Schiff booked hundreds of national and international commercials and corporate films, and expanded her knowledge of New York talent and talent agencies.

As reality television continued to grow, Beth began storyhunting and booking series for HGTV, TLC and other emerging networks.  A foodie before ‘foodie’ was a term, Beth became immersed in the world of culinary talent in 2008, when she spearheaded the casting team for the Food Network’s hit competition show, Chopped, for 12 years from seasons 1-46. That culinary experience led Beth into researching and interviewing thousands of expert culinarians and celebrities for various projects.

Most recently, Beth returned to her advertising roots and helped strategize and shape branded content and influencer marketing for Yahoo Inc O&O properties as a Senior Producer for Yahoo Creative Studios.

Given her depth of knowledge and vast network, she is frequently consulted to source niche talent and stories, or needles in haystacks. Beth thrives working in creative, forward-thinking team environments, brings a high level of strategic, organizational and managerial skills and specifically enjoys working on content devoted to environmental impact, social justice and equity.

In a relationship-driven industry, Beth never forgets a partnership and is tenacious about finding the best options for each project. Hence calling her business, YOU CHOOSE.

When she’s not working, Beth can be found exercising, attending live theater, or sourcing the perfect ethical, organically produced snack.
